100 Anniversary Bash

The girls that went had a lot of fun. Played some games, rededicated themselves to scouts, danced, and a few went to lunch after at Stevie Bs.

Cookie info.
I will be paying the Greater Atlanta Cookie Bill on Monday. We pay the 7,396.75 dollars that is a lot of cookies. Congrats you made our troop goal of 2,500 boxes. That is a great accomplishment..

I know we are not supposed to take checks from customers but a few did and we have two that bounced. One I have taken care of and we were paid in cash the other I just got today. Not sure which scout had it.
Suzanne Williams for 24.50 + 5 dollars we have to pay for handling fee. if this was one of your customers please get 29.50 in cash to settle this thanks..

THINKING DAY
Is Saturday  March 17 from 145pm till -4pm at Zoar United Meth. church (next to Walmart on 124 in Centerville (across from our church)
I will have permission slips for you to sign if you are dropping off your scout.
I was thinking lets make it 2-5 and we can have a short meeting right after and not meet on the 18th.
If you are attending this is what you need:
Wear black pants (if you don't have wear jeans)
White shirt ( I have red ribbon to wear as the tie for Guatemala)
I need two crock pots (Ruth has volunteered one)
I have the extension cord and will pick up the milk and Hispanic hot cocco
You need to bring dimes for the swaps. (we can finish our swap making as soon as we get there)

Thinking day was a lot of fun last year and will be this year.
Please email me or call me if you are coming so I know who will be there.

From 4-5 we will meet outside the church if it is warm if not I will get us permission to meet in a room. We will be making thank you cards for Church of the redeemer who send up another 21 dollars for military cookies. We will be making a few shoe boxes to send to service men over seas. We will include a few boxes of cookies, some thank you letters or cards from the scouts, and anything you want to bring to send over that will fit in the shoe box. (check with your parent and bring things we can send, toothbrushes, toothpaste, chap stick, etc. We will use some of our cookie money to ship them.
Also, I have a few shoe boxes but if you have some bring them. I also have three service people (address to send stuff if you have someone bring their address as well)

Remember March 12th 2012 is the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts. Be proud, be prepared, celebrate.
