Meeting dates and up coming events

There is NO GS meeting this Sunday due to Labor Day and several people heading out of town.

Our next meeting is Sept 18, 2011 at 2pm at the church.

We than have two activities coming up
Sept 24,2011 Please bring the permission slip I will give you on the 18th to this event you can not stay without it. We will meet at 1030 in the Lenora Park Parking lot. (We will meet at my car which will have a GS flag or banner on it) Parents are welcome to stay. We will meet back at my car at 1230 for pick up by parents. Dress code is girl scout t shirt and shorts or if you do not have one tshirt and shorts.

We will plan our camping trip on the 18th as well. We leave for camp Timber Ridge on Sept 30th. The girls will each have items they need to bring for camping as well as meals. The girls have shown interest in several camp activities so they will need to bring some cash with them. 4th grade and up 5 dollars for archery, all scouts 5 dollars for canoeing and one other that I can't remember but will have details at the meeting on the 18th.

You will also get your fall fundraiser info at the next meeting. So come prepared to get to work and prepare for our first two outings.

Our meeting may run a little over 4 pm with all we need to do to get ready for these two events. But the girls will learn how to prepare and set up their menus for a weekend of camping. The girls camping is paid for any adults wanting to join us can for 7 dollars for the weekend. (prefer no boys/males) for the comfort of the girls.

The date is October 8, 2011 we can leave at 9am and bring a packed lunch. The only issue is this is the weekend after our camping trip so please get with your parents and make sure that this is going to be alright prior to me ordering tickets.
