Parade information

Apparently this did not post so let me try again Parade is Saturday, May 5th time 9am meet at Kmart on wisteria drive in Snellville I will get there at 845 I will have the American flag and G'S flag. I will also have permission slips for parents to sign The parade route is not that long so everyone should be fine to walk it You need to wear your full uniform to participate Emily and Ms. Kim may have a softball game so any parent that wants to volunteer to walk with us is welcome to do so.m Sunscreen and sund glasses may be needed The meeting on the 6 th is a 2 pm location is either our home church or the bowling alley in Loganville I am still working out the details

Scouts today

2pm is our scout meeting One of today's creative projects is homemade bird feeders It is pretty cool, We will talk about the up coming camping trip ,and more If you have any toilet paper empty rolls bring them so we can make more bird feeders..... See you guys at two

Thinking day and tomorrow

First, I heard you guys all had fun at thinking day. Sorry the girls and I had to miss it. Also, due to exhaustion I would like to reschedule the girl scout meeting till next Sunday. I am presenting at the GASSP down in Macon Tuesday and need to me with two other presenters tomorrow. I hat to Change the date this late but. I know three others that can't make it tomorrow as well. I hope this dose not mess anyone up to much and thank you for Understanding.

Up coming events and meeting

With Spring Break and our last meeting being cancelled due to break I want to give you a run down of what is coming up

April 14th thinking day at Zoar United Methodist Church Zoar rd (across from our home church)
4-6 pm. I have basketball part of the day so I am not sure what time I can get there. Parents you have to accompany your child till a leader gets there. Also, do I have a parent volunteer to set our table up. I have all the stuff here at my house for our presentation. Set up is from 330-4 pm.

April 15th troop meeting from 2-4

May 6 meeting 2-4

May 19th 100 year celebration sing along camp timber ridge. Time pending camp approval. I have signed all the girls up and about five parents. Should be a fun time

May 20th troop meeting

May 23-25 back yard camping ( I have two locations so I will follow up with which one works out) we will do some archery, fire starting, cooking, badge work, and have fun)

Military packages we have sent out 9 boxes so far. One is still at my house it is missing the zip code. Something like 9:::::: if this was your solider please send me the zip. Andy Schwartz.

We have sent packages to Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and I believe Oman. I was also given a name of a 19th year old first time deployed solider this week so we sent one to him.

I have a community service opportunity that is dear to my heart that I would like the girls to think about. I have a friend who lives in Athens Ga and she has been given 6 months to live her son is about to be two years old. She will be returning from a cancer hospital in TX soon. I was wondering if the girls would like to do a road trip, do some house cleaning, yard work for a day and I will take them all to lunch in Athens. Something to think about.
