And Mrs Duff will be teaching us some cool info on her faith... So enjoy the last few weeks of school before winter break and we will see you in about two weeks..
Also if you want to do the circus let me know how many tickets you want
It will be at the Gwinnett center

Bullying is intentional aggressive behavior. It can take the form of physical or verbal harassment and involves an imbalance of power (a group of children can gang up on a victim or someone who is physically bigger or more aggressive can intimidate someone else, for instance).
Bullying behavior can include teasing, insulting someone (particularly about their weight or height, race, sexuality, religion or other personal traits), shoving, hitting, excluding someone, or gossiping about someone.
Bullying can cause a victim to feel upset, afraid, ashamed, embarrassed, and anxious about going to school. It can involve children of any age, including younger elementary grade-schoolers and even kindergarteners. Bullying behavior is frequently repeated unless there is intervention.

Todays meeting
The girls were very productive today:
we handed out the fall product sale info. You can start selling on Sept. 1, orders are due to me by Oct 12. You must turn in the form that your parents sign stating you can participate..
We have a new volunteer as an assistant leader. Thank you Joyce Wang. We are glad and very excited about you joining the troop. Joyce will be working with the Cadettes and I will handle the Juniors and Brownies. As always we do a lot of mixing..
We worked on the Ceremony a bit for the second meeting in Sept.. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend. (cameras are welcome (just don't photo me)). we will be having out rededication ceremony, Bronze award ceremony, court of awards, and finally our Bridging ceremony.
the girls have worked very hard for all these awards and we hope you will come out and spend it with us as we celebrate.
Girls will arrive at 2 ceremony will start at 215 after which we will have refreshments..
Our first camping trip in the last weekend in Sept. This is a Loganville camping trip. It will also be mixed with Girl Scout day at the Zoo. Each girl will need to turn in 10 dollars for the trip and sign a trip form for camping as well as the zoo. we will camp out Friday night and Sat morning head to the zoo (930 we will arrive at the zoo) girls need to be in their uniforms for this trip.
We have been approved for Mother Daughter camping in October. The girls are thrilled about this. Parents if you can't attend we will para your daughter up with another parent. But we would love for you to come see what we do at camp.
I have two calls in to churches trying to find us a Loganville home near the Snellville border. If anyone has any ideas please shoot them to me.

Great First Meeting
What a great first meeting.....
I am so happy to see everyone back and excited about scouts.
Couple of things to add to your list of things we will be doing this year.
October 19-21 Camping at Camp TimberRidge with your MOM (yes, this includes Gretchen, Ginger Shauna, and a few other moms who are not used to camping. All moms are invited to have a mother daughter weekend at camp. Pending approval from Counsel.
This is a option on our camping in Sept.
The Saturday is Girl Scout day at the ZOO. So my thoughts are we can camp out Friday night, Sat we get up and head to the zoo then come back and camp out Saturday
If this sounds like a plan each girl will need to bring 10 dollars to the Sept meeting for the zoo. Must also have your uniform shirt and vest for the zoo. (I see a Zoo patch coming) lets go learn about the animals.
Reminders:
5 dollars for your service unit dues
1 dollar dues at each meeting
