Don't know about the girls but I am exhausted

n
I would say from all they did they had a blast camping. Just a quick run down of their events:

They cooked most of the meals
sang at the campfire
made smores
worked on some badges (still have to finish up on some but did great)
2 hour hike
2 hours of playing on stage
meltdown tag
snacks (healthy)
played on the stage some more
cleaned dishes
learned about measuring (cups)
Learned to crack eggs

Decided how to spend some of the money they are making with the cookie sales (lunch today at Mcdonalds, badges at the Badge store, shirts for our non leader volunteers who went camping, and our camping trip in March) They did very good
invited the ranger and his daughter to lunch and got to enjoy a wonderful presentation by a 12 year vet. scout.
learned about cooking hamburgers over a wood fire
the juniors learned some first aid while the brownies worked on a math badge
They did most of the troop house clean up (rooms, bathrooms, sweeping the floor, taking our gear to the porch, and working with the Ranger as he inspected our camp area.
The girls then got the wheelbarrels and took all the gear to our cars.

They truly learned and understand the three Cs of Girl Scouting
Courage, Confidence, and Character

You should be very proud of your girls I am

Meeting today

The girls did a great job planning their menu for the camping trip.
The menu will be posted in the next few days
The girls each signed up to bring an item or two. Please let Ms. Kim or myself know if you will not be able to bring the items.

They have also picked Peru for their country for Thinking Day. We will be participating in a Service unit group function in Feb. I will post the exact date shortly.

They need to be researching Peru girl scouts. I have also sent a message to a 19 year old scout in Peru via ScoutFace (face book for scouts 13 or older) to get some information.

They will be earning their World Pins for Thinking Day..

First cookie order is due to me by Jan. 23. or sooner. Please email or get the forms to me by then. We will continue to sell into the end of Feb.

This group of girls is doing a wonderful job and I hope learning a lot.

Thank you for letting me be a part of their scouting lives.
