Fantastic Today

I can't express in words how fantastic these girls were today. They worked very, very hard and made a beautiful yard for a little boy who is going to grow up without his mother. They cleaned up all the brush that was around to start with, filled a huge dumpster with brush and trees. Built a fire pit that was donated by Carole Hicks (Friend of Mistye's and as well as mine), The pizza for lunch today was donated by Mrs. and Mr. Hicks Carole and Bryan's parents). Bryan Hicks is my old Assistant Principal and now principal of Monroe Area High School.

The girls are tired, dirty, and a bit irratable but what they accomplished is truly amazing. They all got to meet Wyatt the little boy (he will be two in August), they gave his some birthday cake. (by the way thank you to Courtnee's mom Amanda for brining a cake and thank you for all the birthday wishes.

I have not know another troop to complete such a huge project for their Bronze awards (Juniors) Brownies will have badges for their work. I am blessed to be part of such a great troop.

I will post photos on showme.com and attach the link here shortly.
Below are the Thinking Day photos Thank you to Mrs. Reed (Courtnee's Mom)
