Girls will take shifts
Sign up for a shift (call Ms June for a shift) I will be there the entire time......

Some of you will collect receipts and others will offer to fill drink cups up for customers.
We get 10% of the take during those hours....
Tell you family and friends to come eat here this night between 5-8

Awesome first meeting
We would like to welcome Katelin to our troop and hope we did not scare you to much. My troop scares me all the time.

We hope you can make it on 9/4/2013 at 5pm Chilis in Loganville wear a scout shirt or your vest. Bring money for dinner after we tour. You can sign your permission forms then. 5-730
Things to do and remember
Bring your permission slips if you did not have them signed today. (you have two tribble mill and chilis)
5 dollars for service unit fee
8 dollars for each Braves ticket you want to attend. Remember you are in the parade on the field first, full uniform (I am putting the order in Tuesday so I do need the number of tickets)

Haley, Maggie, Emily, Marin, and Caroline if you are wanting to attend the Braves game send me how many tickets you want and you can pay later.
Fall sale starts the 1st of Sept. If you participate awesome, if not at least fill out the address book. We get 2 dollars for each one we turn in. If you have relatives who read magazines have them renew through you.
If you have not registered for scouts please do so or I can assist you.
Your three leaders are Ms. Joyce, Ms Kim, and myself.
Any parents who wish to help out you are welcome. We are always in need of some assistance..

You will be introduced to your assistant leader(s) at the meeting
As your leader I do want to say that this is a great group of girls who I am blessed to work with. You guys have made a difference in so many peoples lives by some of the things you have done. The backyard project at Meador's house, food drive, military packages, cookies for the children's hospital, cookies for Sandy hook, the gazabo you built last year.
Parents you will need to complete several forms at the first meeting
If you have not registered for scouts yet please do so (go to Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta)
The fee is 15 dollars a year

- Photo (as you know I post photos on the blog from our activities) So we do a one time photo form
- Troop register (addresses and such)
If you have not registered for scouts yet please do so (go to Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta)
The fee is 15 dollars a year
Things to bring to the first meeting:
- Girl Scout book if you have it
- Wear your uniform (vest with tan pants and white shirt
- 1 dollar dues
- 8 dollars for Atlanta Braves game on Sept. 15th (so I can order the tickets) and how many tickets you need. If your family is going you can buy more. I will also need a list of how many will be carpooling so we can make arrangements
- 5 dollars for the Service unit fee
- I will provide a snack and drink for the first meeting (girls will sign up for future meetings)
Just let me know and we can get you set up .
Things to think about an plan for
- Braves game
- post office tour
- Possibly Savannah
- Bike Saturday (Tribble Mill Park)
- Do we want to do the cookie rally again or maybe father daughter dance, thinking day?
- Camping I am thinking November or Dec. Troop House or Dodd?
- Complete a journey
- Clean up (we will think about doing a roadway trash day or two this year...
- Who do we want to send cookies to (last year we did Sandy Hook school and Military, year before Military)
- Set up a tri-it day (we invite Browniee troops to earn Tri-its and we plan it, buy the tri-its and charge a minimal fee. You guys run the day
- Do we want to do the Holiday Parade again....
- Food drive. (we did great last year something like 250 cans)
Up coming meetings
- We will meet every other Sunday (9/8, 9/15, 9/29, 10/13. 10/27) for the first two months.
- We will do our rededication and awards in Late Sept or October (once everyone is ready to bridge up) We can talk about doing it at Kroger or in the Park like we did last year.
