Meeting this Sunday

Hope everyone had a great day off school.

We are meeting on Sunday. Girls wear a t-shirt and sweatpants. Sneakers as well.

I have confirmation on the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace. We are scheduled to go May 27th
10am come into my palor
House tour purple 2pm

Since this tour was more than anticipated, we will hold a few fundraisers.

Feb. 25th Shane's Rib In Loganville from 5-8 pm, we make 15% of sales. This is pending confirmation.

This is for our 13 years old and older girls. Work concessions on April 11. From approx 10-4. Pm at the Georgia game. I will need possibly one more  parent and 2-4 girls. We will make 3/4 of the profit, with 1/3 going to the LMS Band since it is their concessions. We could make approx 300 dollars and that with Shane's could fund most if not all of this part of our tour.

If you commit to the Georgia Game, please make sure you attend or find a sub.

Meeting this Sunday

Parent meeting from 2-220 ref. Savannah Trip. Over all cost is 310 dollars. Which includes all the tours, Juliet Low house, meals, and lots of fun for three nights at the hotel.

You will be given permission slips, a deposit of 100 dollars will need to be with the permission slip so we can start the process. More info Sunday

 medieval Times in March for scout day. Permission slips will be given out at the meeting 25.95 for this. Comes with a 2 hour show, meal, and scout presentation. I need to order tickets ASAP to get some. This is in place of the circus this year, new experience and a cool learning one as well.

Continued work on your bronze or silver award.

Last, we need some cookie boths set up. Any help with this would be awesome. Feb 15th or after.

Each program level will be given an ingredient. As a troop you must bake a dish which incorporates the ingredient try to keep it with the fall theme.
There will also be a costume contest and prizes and patches to be won.

Letters to military

Hi all,

It is that time of year to give thanks to our soldiers who are fighting overseas.  Bert's Big Thank You is once again looking for thank you letter for soldiers.  Their goal is 1 million letters.  Let's help them out!  The parameters are listed on http://www.bigthankyou2014.com/ and the requirements are listed below. The deadline is October 30th.  But they need to be to me by the 29th. I hope that each of you will take a few moments to thank those who defend our freedoms every day.  


Each letter should be heartfelt, handwritten, original, and free of any political statements. The purpose of the letter is to express thanks to the military personnel currently deployed outside the United States. We reserve the right to eliminate those messages that are political in nature and do not reflect a positive message in the spirit of Thanksgiving.
  • All letters must be on 8.5” x 11” paper or smaller.
  • Do not use glue, tape, staples, cardboard, glitter or otherwise attach anything to the paper.
  • NO construction paper.
  • Decorate using crayons, markers, pens or pencils.
  • Use both sides if you like, but use one page per letter only.
  • Do not send greeting cards or photographs.
  • Feel free to include your mailing and email address.
  • Individual letters should not be sealed in envelopes.
  • Do not send anything except letters.
(We cannot accept donations of any kind, and they should not be included or attached to letters.)
