Packages for military

Great job today we made ten boxes for military personnel. Mailing five tomorrow. If you were not at the meeting you can participate by getting a shoe box. I have two boxes of cookies for you to put in it, we added other items listed below. The girls made a hand made card and everyone signed them.

Wear camp day gear... Good sneakers and lets sing and have some fun at our favorite camp, Maybe we can hit the badge and sash store after it is over. get a singing patch...

Celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouting by sharing traditional camp songs with family and friends. Enjoy s'mores, sing songs, take a tour of camp, find out about summer programs, and make Girl Scout memories.- Camp Timber Ridge   attendance for all troop members

I also registered several parents (you don't have to go but I figured we would have some parents coming)

so all 14 girls are registered and 5 adults.

If you have empty shoe boxes bring them. I am out of them here at the house

I have picked up some things to add to our care packages alone with the cookies
If you think of anything else bring it or email it to me.

If you have a solider you know send the name and address tomorrow I am mailing the ones we have names and addresses for on Monday...

Awesome Troop Care Package

Thank you to Maggie and her family who sent this troop care package over seas.

This is what we will be doing on Sunday is making some care packages with some of our cookies....

Bring some shoe boxes if you have any.

Also, Danielle and Gabby

The cake bake off will be held at 3pm on Sunday across from where we are meeting so if you can bring your cake to our meeting and one of the adults will help you bring them over

Updates

Not sure what has happened but Thinking Day has been postponed. But we will still have our normal meeting at our normal meeting location from 2-4.

I have also paid Greater Atlanta Girl Scouts 7,395 dollars today so we have paid off our cookie debt.

The remaining outstanding cookie money is our troop money... Way to go girls..

I also ordered the cookie prizes and patches. Not sure when they will be in. On the bright side we earned enough cookie dough money so that all girls can register for next year and not have to pay anything but the 5 dollars service fee... YEA.. I will give each girl an application who wants to rejoin for next year and we can get in on the spring registration, if you want.

Thinking day is set up for Sunday, March 18 which is the day of our next meeting so we will just meetbatbzoar for our meeting
